My name is Rita. I suffered with panic attacks. They were so severe that I would sometimes get sick. I was unable to sleep because panic attacks would wake
me up at night with my heart racing and in a cold sweat. I thought I was having a heart attack!
I have two little girls and my panic attacks were so bad, I was afraid to take them to school. Sometimes I could not leave the house. I thought I would live this way forever.
One day I was looking through a Psychology Today magazine. I found the Lighthouse of Hope Counseling Center -- they had low- cost counseling available. We did not have insurance that covered counseling services,
and we could never afford something like counseling! After speaking with them, I found out I qualified for Low Cost Counseling so I scheduled an appointment.
I began weekly sessions with a therapist that put me at ease and assured me she would help no matter how long it took. We met weekly for about almost a year.
That was a year ago. My panic attacks got much much better, and I have not
had one in a year. I can manage my stress with confidence.
Thank you, Lighthouse of Hope Counseling Center, for giving me my life back!
TODAY IS THE DAY!
